I have a 1270 Agri King and the hydraulics to the 3 point and steering quit working but the brakes work fine. This is a totaly hydraulic tractor and sevral years ago i had a new hydraulic pump put in it. I pulled the filters and they are clean but that is the only thing i know to do. Does anyone have any ideas as to what may be wrong.

Rgds
Jeff

Your problem in part is the flow divider in the power brake valve, this works the steering and brakes,it some times will stick or most likly breaks in two, it is in the top half of the valve,[ this is the thing that goes wrong on the 770-1170 tractors] . / As for the 3 pth there is what Case calls the Needle Valve it gets dirt or what ever in the hole throught the screws,[it is located in the valve, plat on the side with 4 bolts 5/16 bolt or smaller 12 point heads on the bolts]

Your suction screen to your pumps could be plugged. The two pipe plugs on your hyd filters(the ones you use to drain them) can also be used as test ports. install a 100lb gauge in each one, one will tell you charge pump psi before the filters the other pressure after the filters. If one is alot lower than the other your filters are plugged. If they are both low your screen is plugged or your charge pump is bad. Charge pump psi should be 30lbs. If you find out it's the sreen let me know and I'll tell you how to clean it.

I worked on a 4-150 White not long ago.It had the same symptoms you are describing. What I found was White uses a Vickers pressure-compensated piston pump.I pulled the compensater off the pump and found the compensater to be pluged with crap. Lot cheaper than a new pump.
