Took carb off 1949 SC Case . After got the dirt off I noticed that it was painted black. I have also seen some that are orange. Which is right? Also what color should the carb be on a 1950 Case VA?

I've always believed the carbs were black, along with other things like the starter & magneto.

I think they look weird painted in Flambeau Red- when someone spray paints the entire tractor in a single color.

I've got a book somewhere that mentions the original colors of the various pieces of the tractor if you need further info.
