i was give a case W3 loaderbackhoe last year that had been sitting in the woods for about 5 years or so cause of a hole in the block, any way i put a motor in it that i had and started and replaced a bunch of gages, got the hyd working and was doing good intill it came time to get the power steering working, i so found that water had gotin in to the cylinder and broke the sleeve i have gotin one price on getting it fixed and it was $800 that was when to much for me, could any body tell me were i might beable to get a used one. i would also think about buying a hole parts machine for the right price or would sell mine for the right price. any help would be great! also could any body tell if a 530 in that needs to have the head redone but other than it looks good would be worth $3500 gas job

Hi, You should test your pump pressure since water was in the cylinder. Plumb a gauge and shut-off valve between the two cylinder hoses. The fluid will circulate untill you close the valve. (gauge on pressure side of valve) Should be around 1200 psi. With warm oil you can load it for up to 10 seconds. The relief valve is on the bottom of the pump and could be stuck so be carefull. $3500 for a 530 not running is too much for me..... Dennis.....
