I have a 1970 Case 580ck with a model 33 loader and backhoe and a 188 diesel engine. I have purchased from Case EVERY document written about this tractor including the operators manual, the parts manual, and the repair manaul. NOWHERE in any of the doumentation does Case state either the WEIGHT of the tractor or the HORSEPOWER of the engine.

Can anyone tell me the weight of this loader/backhoe and the horsepower it develops. I need to transport the vehical and the trailer rental company insists on knowing the weight.

Thanks,

Bruce

bruce the horse power is 46.5 at 2100rpm if you have a converter and it is 43 horse power at1900rpm if it is standard clutch and the weight is 8,550lbs w/converter and 8,430lbs with dry clutch and if equip with extendahoe pwer shuttle is 9,210lbs and dry clutch is 9,090lbs and those weights do not include front or rear buckets of backhoe and loader as this can vary because of the size of bucket equip with. hope this will help you. jcmarleau@aol.com
