We have a 1938 Case L with a cab. I posted a question earlier if a cab was available or not and someobody said yes. Now, I'm wondering if sombody can post a picture of a Case L with a factory cab or aleast describe one. I think ours is farmer made but I want to be sure before I start restoring it.

I just received a catalog that I bought on Ebay. Covers both the Model L and C.

I took a picture with my digital camera of an L pictured in this catalog with a cab mounted. Also shows a light package.

Case Model L with canopy.

By the way this catalog was published by J.I. Case. Not sure what year but they talk about their New Line of Tractors!

Neat book.

Green Envy,

If you can find a bookstore that would sell Peter Letourneau's Buyer's Guide there's a picture of one on page 79. There is also pictures in Dave and Eldons book Full Steam Ahead. Doesn't tell if they were wood or metal although I thought I read one place they were wood but the FSA pictures look like metal. The cab had a roof that slants like the roof on a house and it maybe sticks out 8-10" past the fender in back. Door is in the back, two large windows in front with smaller one down towards the pully side. Two larger windows on both sides and window in door plus another window in back Maybe sticks up about 20" above the hood.Hope this helps a little.
