Powershift works in 1,2&3 but slips in reverse. It has 2500 psi at hyd remote when in 1,2&3 but drops basicly to nothing when in reverse. Can that much presure be lost thru the powershift clutchpack ? Could problem be in powershift control valve? Any help appreciated.

Your problem is in the C-4 clutch circuit somewhere. The First thing to check would be the C-4 pilot-Pull the plug out of the control valve and make sure that the pilot is free in the bore and is in the correct direction ( have seen them put in backwards before) If al this is OK then go to the top of the bellhousing and pull the C-4 plug and check to see if the allen plug that holds the feed tube in has not backed out. If it is OK then remove it and pull the short tube out and make sure it is not bent or crushed off center. If all this is OK then you will have to split the tractor to get to the C-4 clutch.
Hope this will help

Watch the trans gadge on the dash, see if its lower in rev. There is a plug you can put in the PS valve to determine if it is in the valve or not, but I've never have had a bad valve yet.
