Joe; If you haven't found parts already, I have NOS parts for your dash, including the tach and speed-ometer. They are exact replacements for your S-
W dash.

Hey Joe, All the 300's I've seen have separate speedometer and tach/hour counter gauges. The speedometer gauge movement is electrical (no gears in there) driven by a speedometer cable from the transmission. The tach gauge movement is also electrical with some gearing that turns the hour counter. This gauge is driven by a speedometer type cable attached to the tachometer drive gear in the torque tube. If you have this setup, the most likely problem is that the drive cable core is twisted off. You can buy cores or have one made up @ a speedometer shop. If the problem is in the gauge movement, it may be stuck or have worn bearings. I repaired mine with movement parts from a junk 530 diesel panel. The 530 is NOT a drop in replacement, it is designed to turn in the opposite direction for one thing, but the major parts of the movements are the same. You may not want to try this unless you have instrument repair experience. I think your best option is a salvage yard. E:mail if you think I may be of some help. Good luck, Joe
