Had the set screw unturn on a gear where another gear slides over on the high ,low range where I could only get it to shift from low to neutral. All this being inside the transmission..

I have a 1030 which vertually is the sam rear end as the 930 and I have a small lever left of the steeringcolumn actually IN the dashboard, and on
the decal it says H-S-L. Donīt use force when you
move it just ease-it up and down since the shif-
ting-fork has a tendency of breaking.
Hope this helps.

The 930 only had two transmissions. The 6 speed and the 8 speed. The 8 speed is a dual range transmission, that is why you only see 4 gears. There should be another lever for the hi/low range close to the 4 speed lever. If there have been any oil leaks, then the dirt and oil will build up and you won't see the hi/low notation on the transmission top cover.

There is a lever just left of the steering post in the dash. It will give you high and low range.
