My father recently purchased an old Case tractor. He is looking for information regarding torque, history, etc. He's never had a tractor, and wants to restore this one. Can anyone help me, or point me in the right direction to help him get the information needed. Thank you

If you can post a picture I am sure someone here can make an ID. Also check for a serial number. Look for a data plate on the instrument panel, or look for a stamped number on rear engine flange (where it bolts to the transmission left side). Posting that will probably yield and ID also. Once Model and serial number are nailed down he can order operators manuals, service and parts manuals. If your dad is moderately mechanical and has tools it will be a fun project for him.

Welcome aboard!
You need to find out what model it is and go from there. A good reference book is Peter Letourneau's 'Illustrated Buyer's Guide to CASE Tractors'. The link will take you to YT's bookstore. Letourneau's book is about halfway down.
