Just finished rebuilding and straightening the hydraulic cylinders on my 430. Does anyone know how to bleed air from them? I can tell there is air in there. I guess cracking the lines and letting the air out is how it's done, but I'd like to know what others are doing. This old tractor is coming back to life! Pictures at 11.

Gregg; I never got too concerned with air in the system. It seems to work itself out fairly quickly. Are you talking about the later style power steering?

I talking about the dump cylinders on a utility tractor. Big cylinders. When I place the bucket on the ground, it isn't solid. It tilts. It's got air in the cylinders. Pretty sure. I've been working miracles on this little beauty.
