Hey does any body know who builds the small pullers anymore? Their used to be a club that used small airplane motors in toy tractors that pulled on a plywood track. I had saw them demo at the farm show in Louisville several years ago and just wondered if they were sill going.

DCPULLER,

This is scotts web site for the micro

pullers (table top pullers ). The record is somewhere around 1000 lbs on the sled , a wonder the table can hold the weight.

Yes! We do still exist. I am Scott Jones, MD Stae Rep for the National Micro Mini Tractor Pullers Association. The record weight is unofficailly 1000#, pulled by a 6# tractor. The most I have seen pulled, personally, is 975# on a urethane-over-plywood table. This was at our Annual Meeting Pull, in Frankfort Indiana, 2001.
Our 3# units, built from 1/16 scale toys, can only handle about 150#. You have got to see them to believe them. My website is http://www.midatlanticmicros.com. Feel free to stop by and take a look. e mail me with direct questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Scott
