The 2090 already has the float position on it. But what kind of discbine are you running. We have a New Holland 1431 and it doesn't require a float on the tractor, it is spring loaded to float itself. I would guess all discbines are due to the speed that you can run with them. Our 1270 will pull that 12 footer at 8 mph in 2nd and 3rd cutting.

Your 2090 should have the float position on all the remotes. There is a little plastic piece that the lever hits when you push it all the way forward. Turn this piece to the side out of the way and the lever should snap ahead another notch into the float position. That is the way all the remotes are on my 2090. Hope this helps.

David; What I would do is make up a temporary hose. Put a male coupling on one end to plug into one remote, and plumb the other end of the hose back into the transmission housing so oil can free flow back. Right now I can't exactly say where I would plumb back. Maybe there is an acsess plug somewhere? Good luck John.
