Hello, A little history I had trans problems. It took two years to put the tractor back together. As it ran before tear down. Just removed tank and installed plastic caps. It's primed fresh fuel oil. No oil from couple injectors lines (disconnected from pump). No smoke from exhaust stack (other lines). Throttle and stop/kill connected correctly. There's oil linking from timing mark inspection port.(cover off) and only during cranking. Normal? Last resort filled the pump from return port. has little pressure on return port when cranking.

A quick word of free advice and that may be more than it's worth. BEFORE removing your pump, turn it over til the timing mark in the pump is in line. Makes it a whole lot easier when you get ready to put the pump back on. When you get ready to bleed the injector lines, pull the intake hose off and place your hand over the intake while you are spinning it over. After about one turn without any intake, it will free wheel while the lines are bleeding, keeping your starter from getting hot and running your battery down.

Bob, If you have successfully bled all the air out of supply , then the most likely problem is from sitting . The fuel has gummed and stuck the pump plungers ,the only way to free them is to disassemble the pump , knock them out , wash with 2+2 , lube , and reassemble . While you are in the pump check and / or replace the governor drive ring.
