Case 530 backhoe with caseomatic trans problem. I start up the backhoe it will move a short distance and stop moving like in nuetral. also the lever for locking the torce converter never worked. If i was to lift the machine up the tires will spin also i tried to lock down eack tire allowing the other to spin. it seems that under a load this machine will not move. there is good clutch pressure. i checked the pump and removed the linkage to manually check the machine still nothing. also i replaced the filter and fuild with hydrolic. i know the manual calls for a type a however this is not possable to find. Note: when the machine was sold to me there was a farely new motor and touce converter installed. what do i do???? 3500.00 for a perfessional rebuild on the clutch plates.

Mine does that when low on oil. Of course,
the manual engage lever always gives me full
power...

I would say tear into the torque converter. Or just figure out how to get the engage
lever working so you can be sure you are
bypassin the converter. At least you would
be able to move it around with that lever working.

Dont spend that kind of money to get it
fixed. I'd sell you my whole machine for $5k.
