Did case introduce the 504 with the 1030. If not, what size engine did it have and what tractor was it introduced in ?

By looking in "Nebraska Tractor Tests", the 1470
was the first to use the 504, in 1969.

The 1030 was a souped up 930. 930 engine was (diesel) 4 1/8 by 5, 401 cu. in. 1030 was 4.375 by 5. 451 cu. in. I loved my 930. Friend hated his 1030. Was all ways over heating radiator.

The 1030 was introduced in 1966 with a 451 cubic inch engine. I have a 930 and my next door neighbor has a 1030. We both are very satisfied. 30 Series had a bad habit of cracking heads which lead to many people using all kinds of sealer which of course lead to plugged radiators. My 1070 has a 451 and is an excellent tractor at about 130 horse.
