Just got in from an auction at Greley Colo. Though you might like to know tractor prices are down, at lease around here. First tractor up was a 311 round nose nice shape. Went for 1450..I bought it. Next was a nicer 351 round nose for 1550...wish I had waited. Next, and I realy wish I had waited, was a beautifull 630 diesel for 1750. Nice running 400 with a good loader on and duals for 1250. My friend could not keep his hands in his pockets..bought a clean nice running SC, hyd lift and pto, for 750. I am still not believing the 630 price. Well used, but ran nice, 830 diesel for 2150. All tractors were painted with a pretty decent job. Did not have the heart to watch the bigger, newer ones sell. Eat you heart out fellows.

I know this is a Case site, but at auction on 2/15 at Galt, Ca. about 75 miles NE of San Francisco, the only old tractor was a John Deere 2010 gas utility
with brand new tires all around and mismatched green spray paint on 3/4 of a straight hood. Hydraulics ok, steering loose, 8 speed transmission, with one speed foward and one speed reverse, $3750 +7.75% sales tax. Needless to say, I didn't buy it.

You can blame that on your illustrious political leadership. If they hadn't been stealing the SS funds for decades, we would have a fair retirement. MOST federal politicians retire on millions. One served 2 terms and retired on over 7 million bucks. Guess who votes their own pay and retirement. If they had to live with SS, like the rest of us poor, overworked slobs, they would have fixed SS long ago. Clinton retires on full pay, plus the government rents a small house on his property for housing for the secret servicemen who watch over him for $10,000. per MONTH. Not bad work if you can lie well enough to get it.
