CASE book question

Quick question for anyone who has Peter Letourneau's "Illustrated CASE" books. I've heard great things about the book and want to buy it. I noticed on Barnes & Noble.com there's 2 of them with almost the exact same title. One is "Illustrated Case Tractor Buyer's Guide" (July 1993) and the other is "Illustrated Buyer's Guide: Case Tractors" (April 1998)
Are these the same book, or is one a continuation or reprint of the other? My question stems from the fact that there is 2 different publishing dates as noted above, and the pics on the covers are different. I'm guessing they are 2 different books, and if they are, is one better than the other? Which one would you recommended more?
Thanks,
-Mark

I've got the same one as Roger (2nd ed. 1999) and it lists the 1st edition as a 1993 copywrite. Maybe someone has both and can tell us if the second edition has more info than the first or if the first one covers some models more completely than the second and vice versa. Since the titles you mention are different they COULD be completely different as to model details.

Mark, I've got the 2nd edition with the 730 grove/orchard on the cover. It's not a bad book, but it doesn't cover the 30 series much & that's what I collect. I guess the 30 series isn't old enough yet since most books don't say much about them or include them at all..... ...Roger

The second book is an "updated" version of the first print and it goes farther into the "tan" tractors.
