Is this what they mean when they say a tractor is "on steel"? (grin)

Mike that is a CC-4. I have found out that alot of the CC tractors with chicken roost was sold with a wide front also. Also a lot of the real early ones broke the chicken roost casting. The first castings were 50 pounds then they went to 100 pounds and finally went to 150 pounds. That same style tractor gets mistaken for a CH alot. The rear fenders on a C extend farther down in the back then a CC.

Couldn't resist adding my 2cents. Restored a MM Zb in about that shape. 2 parts tractors later I ended up with a good runner. . . .

I don't know what his reserve is but if its much it may not sell.

I see a lot of $$$ to spend just getting it back on rubber again. Besides that I recently priced having my L re-cored and choked at the price.

The C core might be less than the L but it won't be very cheap.

Think of it this way. No grease and no paint to get off.
