I have a what says 930 Comfort King on the decals but on the metal tag by the steering colums it says Model 931
S/N 8329635
I was given a parts manual by a Case dealer which is incorrect. It is for a Western Special and manual #A941
I was told by 2 other Case dealers that I need manual #D929 for this tractor.
It has draft o matic

Could someone please help in letting me know what is correct.
Thanks in advance
Mike

The manual you have is for a 1965 Western Special. Why for only that year, I don't know. The correct manual for your 930 is indeed the D929 manual. The 1965 Western Special may still have been chain drive and standard axle. Hope this helps; John

I even called Case in Racine WI and they gave me the wrong manual number too. Every dealer gave me the D929 manual also. Everything is different in the western special, clutch area especially
Thanks again
Mike

The only differences in the 930 Comfort King series are the front axles and fenders. All engine, transmission, and rear end parts are the same. If you don't care about the wrong fenders in the book, I'd just keep it and still be able to order the other parts out of it.
