OK. I need some imput here. I seem to have the only existing Case 970 with the 377 gas in it. Everyone acts like I am JD green or something. There is a flange on the top of the front piece of the 2 part exhaust manifold called # A 58835 STACK. I have been told by a few that the 930 gas or LP manifold stack may work. I have also been told the 930 or like it won't work. I do not know the three number series at all and do not know which way to turn. I am in need of the part but now I have conflicts of which way to go. HELP!!!

930 gas exits out the front of manifold.

David, I would think the only one that MIGHT work would be a 930 gas after 1965. If you were to use an LP manifold, you would not have the heat tranfer from the exhaust manifold to the intake manifold to keep the gasoline vaporized & heat transfer is NOT what you want in an LP gas engine, that's why the LP ones are separated. I've got the 930 parts book but not a 970 so I can't look up number comparisons.

I'm almost sure the 930, or 600, or 900 manifolds would fit your engine, but I don't know if they would fit the hole in your hood. 970 gas manifold could be hard to find. Good Luck

If is a 377 gas motor, LP manifolds from a 600, 900b, and early 930 case should work.I will check the part number on my 600 ,email you back.
