"Of course I remember! Dad sold Allis Chalmers tractors. I don’t know the date he started selling them but it’s the only kind he ever sold. He went into business with Ed Kilen in 1929. About the time of the stock market crash because my mother told me they had to pay twice for a coat she had bought. They paid first by check and then the bank failed so they lost what they had in it and they had to pay the store again. Don’t ask me how that worked! It was my dad’s cousin, Silas Omberson, who was the implement dealer in Dovray."
