1948 VAO fan belt

Does anyone have a NAPA part # or any manufacterer # for the fan belt on a 1948 VAO? To my surprize the parts man at NAPA couldn't find it.

i wouldnt doubt it. UAP/NAPA up here cleaned out their catalogues of everything built before 1955. i had to give them the old part number off the oil filter i bought from them 2 years before!

case lists 3 different belts for VA tractors based on engine serial# but all are available for all different engines- go figure.

im not sure of the one you need so ill give you all 3.

03782-ab - fan belt (no generator)
vt-2102 - fan belt for use w/ auto-lite GAS-4169a generator
vt-4886 - fan belt for use w/ auto-lite GBM-4823a-5 generator

hope this helps. if your generators dont match these part# ive got some updates in my manual. let me know.

I have a 1948 case vao tractor that my Dad and I restored, I was told that it was a really rare tractor!! Is this true?
