I need the exaust manifold for my 300 gas. Would any of the other models work? Its the one that goes either way. Rear and down right now. Just as soon it went up. What am I looking at? about 40 or 50 bucks?

I hope you guys don't mind if I jump in here. I'm not necessarily an old tractor buff, but I do have a very nice case 300 gas with a front end loader. And interesting enough, I had to put a new muffler pipe on the other day and broke the exhaust elblow coming off the top front of the manifold that goes out and makes a 90 degree bend up. The manifold is not broke but the 90 degree elbow is broke in half. Someone in the past had the same problem and tried to use JB Weld, What a mess. I have a local machine shop making an adapter piece out of a cast slug and then is going to weld it to the elbow. I hope it works. The fellows at the shop talk like it will be no problem. I should have the new piece by this weekend. I will let you know how it turns out. I"m also going to check out the "manifold@smig.net" This sounds very interesting.

Later, Wally Smith

Cracked at the #4 end. Running Ok but noisey. Some one hit it with an arc welder and did no good. This is the one with the back and down exaust. My question is; Will any from a 148 cu in engine fit? Esprecially will a 300 B fit? I Might know where one of them is.
