does anyone know if it is possibble to convert the 611b case-o-matic to a regular dry clutch transmission. If so, what is involved, and what would be the approx. costs.

You can change it over to dry clutch, using the center section from a 350 or a 500B. Costs will very of course, but I give it a range of $350 to $600 , and add for rebuilt clutch and P plate. The hyd pumps are different, so it may be best to buy the complete center section with pumps and valves as a one. Too pc it out would be very confusing for both the seller and buyer!

Hey Don: I left you a message yesterday. The "630" came either way, COM or dry clutch. I believe the parts from a 630 would also work. John

dumb question but why don't you like the cas-o-matic. Love mine to bale with, but I don't know of many around. Grinding gears is annoying but 40 yrs hasn't hurt them.

Hey jls; I don't want to change one. I agree with you on the COM. To avoid the grinding, I bypassed the neutral safety, and start it in gear. John
