Hi Ya'll,

A fellow I work with was telling me about a Case toilet at his ranch house.

It had a brass Case nameplate in the top of it, fine machine-worked brass internals and brass handles and is pink. Everything is very high quality and the toilet is almost totally silent!

They were installed back in the 40's or 50's by a prominent ranching family who had the place then.

Has anyone else heard or seen of such a thing??

He had to get parts for it one time and had to special order them from somewhere back East.

Was this the same Case company as JI Case tractor company??

He and I both would love to hear more about the history behind them!

Thanks for any info,
Howard H.

Well - thanks fellows...

My friend (a MM fan) said I should post this on the JD discussion board and see what responses I got! :)

I saw the google responses, too, but they mainly seem to all refer to one company that still sells parts...

I saw one uncompleted Ebay auction for one in which the seller was asking $6,500 for it.

There is a Case car coming up for sale near here very soon - I was just unsure what all Case built over the years...

Thanks,
Howard H.
