My 430 has a bad power steering cylinder leak on the left side. How about some details on how to remove this cylinder for some repacking. Thanks

My 530 had the same problem. It is not to hard to fix. First you have to remove the cylinder. To do this you need to unscrew the cap in the end of the cylinder. There is a clip that you need to remove before you can unscrew it. After you have unscrewed the cap, the cylinder should slip off the ball joint holding it on. Unhook the hose and take off the castle nut on the other end and the cylinder should come right out. To replace the sills on the cylinder, push the cylinder all the way in and you should see the clip in the hole where the hose screws in. Push the clip off of the end of the cylinder using a screw driver through the hole. You will then be able to pull the piston of the cylinder out and replace the sills and wipers. Then all you have to do is put everything back together. The hardest part is getting the clip back on the piston. If you have a I&T manual for your 430 it has a diagram and a better explaination on how to do it.
