Went to an auction yesterday and saw a "2096". The decal on the hood said 5.9L, but it had the 504 engine. It also had the CASE rear end that resembles the 1370. My "2096" has the CDC 5.9 engine, and the IH style 3PT and back end. Any ideas? John

Figured it out men, I went back to get my stuff today and the tractor was still there. It is a 2090 with a 2096 paint job, decals & all. Very professional. The serial # tag inside gave it away. JOhn

How much did it go for John? Always would be interested to see what the 90 series brings. I like them and would love to acquire one. The wife thinks we need one.

I think the 90 series used a cable to shift the 3 speed and the 96 used 12 VDC electric to shift

Hey big orange; It was Red, painted just like my 2096. CASE used to be known for using up all the old stock before switching over, I wonder if that is what happened here? If by chance I learn more, I'll keep you all posted. John

You probably saw a 2390 with the wrong decals on it.

Sounds like a 2090 in 2096 clothing.
