Does anyone have an idea what 34" hubs will fit a 500 in place of the 30" standards. Are the 600, 900 and early 930 hubs the same? (the tractor pull is coming fast and this year we're featuring Case) Thanks, Don

I don't know what hubs make it work. But the easy is to weld channel irons from the rim to the bolt hole. You don't need much and no one really see it. Don L.

the 500 axel is a different taper than 600&900 if you use those you will have to change axel also (thats what i did ) they made 34" hubs but they are hard to find #6396a .34" tires makes a fast first gear 3.01mph better have a big motor.!

Writing from australia. what happened out here assuming you have cast centres and pressed steel rims, just attach lugs to the 34 inch rims to fit on to the 30 inch centres regards Ron

Are you sure they didn't change the gear ratios when they came with the 34 in. option. The ones with 34 in tires in our country pulled better than the 30 in. ????

they made a low speed first gear option that would make a big difference . the one i changed from 30 to 34 had a standard first gear. now i have a 520 industrial with a low speed first gear but it has 26 tires on it. thanks JON

First gear ratio didn't make much difference in our country. Most 500'rds in our country only used third gear for most field work some used second on some jobs, not to many used first for even pto work. I thought they might have made a change for all gears. I know some up'ed rpm's to gain some speed.

Jon,
Thanks for your post! I knew it wasn't going to be that easy for some reason. Maybe I'll just go with 18.4-30's Don
