The 3pt on my 1390 chatters while it is in an intermediate position with a load. It doesn’t do it at the top or bottom of the range. It does it more when it is cool. Additionally, the lift won’t stay in the down position when cold or when I remove the attachment from the lift.

The lift control lever seeks a raised position when I first start the tractor. When I push the lever down, it springs right back to the lift position until the tractor warms up. I changed the hydraulic filter and tried all of the adjustments for speed and draft with little or no effect. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Tony

Adjust the brake for the lever. Follow the linkage down to where it pivots. You will see two nuts jammed together. Adjust it enough to hold the lever inm position. Same goes for the 1410.

Elmer,
You're the man!
I'll try it this weekend.

Don't have any solutions but have a 1210 and a 1410 that do the same thing. I just tie the handle where I want it. Tore down the 1410 last month, huge job and can't find anything wrong. Wish I had just lived with it.
