My neighbor wants to sell me his Case 730 CK. The remote hydraulic hookup works just fine, however the lift arms will not go up. It appears that the hydraulic pump is working. Is this a big deal to get repaired? TRANSLATION - would this be expensive to fix?

This is easy enough to fix take the seat off and the platform under the seat off , you will see a hydraulic valve. Take it off, take it apart and clean it out be carefull not to mix the parts while taking it apart and putting it back together. The only cost will be couple hours work. The hardest part will be getting the seat off. Hope this helps.

We had to clean a valve in ours but we were able to take the floorboard playe out and get to it without taking the seat off. I think it is the same vale you are talking about.

It could be as simple as linkage broke all the way to a broken cover housing that has the draft arm cylender cast into it. Probably unliklely, but I've seen it. Hope this helps more than confuses, John
