I did not make the auction at Julesburg CO. but my nephew did. the 1954 500 , which he said run well but the rubber had some cracks, sold for $900.00. this est. auction was mainly for this guys older Mach,. Next year the est. will sell his good equipment. (They didn't want too much money coming in all at once). The good mach includes big old Wagner 4wd's big newer JD's etc. This man owned and farmed 39 Sections of ground thats 24,960 ac.'s. He farmed it 1/2 and 1/2. that means 12,480 ac's of wheat in each yr. and the same amount in summerfallow. By comparison I farm 1400 ac. 700 in wheat and 700 in summerfallow.

You farm about what I did until I put in all in grass.
Talk to you again in a couple of days. It involves a friend and I can't say any thing for a few days. Some rich farmers around the Haxtun, Amhearst area too.
