how do i convert my 211-B case over to 12 volt
from 6 volt. What do i replace and what do i keep . my case has a positive ground, do i have
convert to a negative ground?
I guess i want a step by step explanation of how to do it.

Why convert? By a good high amp 6 volt battery and keep the generator. Cost around $100.00 to rebuild or less depending on what it needs.You"ll put a starter in every couple of years any way running on 12v.A well tuned tractor starts easy,if you have to crank that hard fix the other problems.Dave

Have you looked into the Article Achives? There is something there on this subject. I converted my VAS to 12V. Not hard to do especially if you use an alternator with one wire out. If you use the same coil be sure to use a step-down resistor between it and the battery.
