I am looking for an operators manual for a 1916 7 passenger touring car. Does anyone know where I might find one?

I could also use any info helpful in restoring the car.

You guys that missed the JICCA Winter Convention in New Oxford, PA missed seeing some great Case automobiles. I sent some pics to Mike Schotte, hope he puts them in his album. The Case cars are in Herb Wessel's collection. Email me for more information. JHH

Did you see the auction results from Booker, Texas last week? One of the results was a 1916 Case Touring and it fetched $46000 US and the ad from the auctioneers said it was original (although it looked awfully good in the photo). Good luck with your restoration.

Hey A.M.-

How are you keeping up with the Texas auction news all the way up there in Alberta?

I wish I had known about that auction- I would have liked to see a CASE automobile in real life instead of just photos.

If you hear about anything else in Texas let ME know! (grin)

I will try to find out the name and location of the man that bought the car in Booker. I was there, and it was original. He is from, I think, Pittsburg, OK. Look it up, and contact Nixxon auctioneers and see if you can get the man's name. The fellow showed up three days before the auction, slept in his little car on the grounds, and bid only on that car, and wasn't going to stop. He was a happy camper, as I would be. He deserved it for that much effort.
