Give us a little more info on it, color, etc. Some of the Case tractors have the serial # and model on the block in the back next to where it bolts to the transmission. The gray models had the serial plate on the tool box and the flambeau series its supposed to be on the dash. If it happens to be a "V" series you won't find the number on the block. There are things that will allow for coming close to the years. Let us know what you can.

Now I feel kind of foolish!! I was walking past it last night and saw a s/n plate under the steering wheel on the dash. Looked up the number and between that and some pictures on the internet decided I have a 1949 DC-4. It's real close to the D, but it has the solid front rims and the rear ones are the large hole spoke type. Now I would like to get some more info on the DC-4 and when it is running what is the approx value? The beast is rather rough looking so please keep that in mind... Thankx jim

Jim: Value is heavily influenced by location. Does it run? Also does it have hydraulics, live PTO, Eagle hitch? WHat about tires?
In PA running, live PTO, eagle hitch, usable tires about $1000
