I just recently bought the 530CK and it just stopped moving while I was drive up a small hill. I checked the fluid. It's OK (has some water in it)
Pulled the line off the Clutch Pressure gauge. (It doesn't work) Started it up and a very slow, small stream of fluid came out. I pulled the filter, and watched the fluid flow out of it, again, not too much pressure. I ordered a service manual, but not recieved yet. It's model#: G530 TC
I believe that this is a case-o-matic transmission??? Anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Gary

My Case 530 is just starting to have the problem of not moving. I guessed torque converter fluid but don't know where to add it and don't know what exactly to add.

I just bought it and have no manual or prior knowledge of the machine. I found a dipstick just to the right above the brake pedals and assume that that is it. If so, it shows up white which I intrepret as water. Any advice?

Thanks,

Mike

I recently puchased a 530ck also. I'm pretty sure it is not case-o-matic, but u should have a torqure converter lever mounted buy the sterring wheel. one side lever is throttle other is torqure converter. when mine pulls down under load I shift the torque in and away I go.You should also have hi/low trans lever. and a shuttle trans lever for forward and reavers use. hope this help you some. May I ask how much you paid for it? I paid $3000 for mine sith a loader and ground packer attachment

Thanks for the response. Mine has a torque converter, shuttle clutch and hi/low trans lever. The left lever is throttle and I believe the right is direct drive/torque converter. Not sure which way is which. You got a better price than I did....

Direct drive is all the way down, or towards you. I think if you engage that, and you dont start moving, your clutch or torque converter is toast. Probably the converter since you said the wheels do move when you lift the machine up. Too bad we didnt hook up, if you paid more than he did, ur getting up to the price i want for my backhoe. $5500. -Greg
