I recently purchased this tractor and now I am trying to find out more information on it. Can anyone tell me if there is a web site or a good book that could give me more information on this tractor. Also is there any difference between the plain SO tractor and the EX (export) tractor. Thankyou for any assistance you can provide.

Did you pick this tractor up in Northern Michigan?

Yes it was sold at a local auction and then I bought from the guy who bought it. The person who sold it at the auction said he was told it was one of only about only 75 manufactured. He didn't know why it was never exported. I am hoping to restore it and use it on my hobby farm. Although I don't know its value I purchased it for $1300.00 (probably too much) but it was the size of tractor I wanted and a price I could afford. My wife has threatened to paint it purple because she doesn't like the color it is right now. Of course I told her no. Any help with this tractor would be appreciated. Thanks
