Howdy..was wondering if anyone knows about htis kind of hood latch on a 1952 VAC... I have not seen one like it before and just purchased it. Thanks for the help!

The hood you have is from a "VAC-13" after sn. 5570000 if you need the original part numbers get in touch. Rich

It looks exactly like the one on my '52 VAC, serial # 5656680.

Case modified the VAC design after the 1950 model year.

the tin design changed slightly w/ a new hood and latch, different dash panel, quadrant style throttle lever, and the steering gear moved from the torque tube to the front of the tractor.

I think the change was at serial # 557000 which was mid 1951. Those tractors sheet metal is hard to find. I have one that was grandfathers to restore.

I have a 1951 #5573734 and it took me three years to find the right grill.
