I have a a CASE 530 with original loader. I have seen others with this loader and one locally is on a 430 but I have no model or serial #. I need it for the tilt cylinder parts.

I have a picture if you think you can help.

I have a 530 with an original Case loader and a 430 with an original loader. I also have some owners manual information for both. If you want to send me a picture maybe I can help.

I,ve looked at your picture and it appears that the bucket has a mount for one cyl. to tilt bucket. I have a brochure with my 530 and 430 that shows a similiar one. One loader is shown as Model 290 and the other shows Model 291B. My 530 tractor actually has two cyls. to tilt bucket and tractor is in Iowa so I can't check to see if it has a model number on it. Hope that helps. I love my 530 with the loader that I use on a small acreage at my mother's place in Iowa. I have a 430 project tractor with a Case loader that appears to be like yours either a Model 290 or 291B.

Allan, Thanks for the info ... I'll send you a pick when I am finished. I have had the 530 for 12 years now but in the past few years I have used a JD2130 and JD1830 w/245 loader. I have a 100 acre hobby farm (cow/calf). I purchased my 530 from a neighbour who got it from the original owner who had an orchard. It is a good tractor but I move large round bales and the loader was a little too loose for comfort when you get the bales up over your head. You are right about the single hydraulic cylinder ... it is leaking and I want to fix it but I need a model# to get the correct parts.

Does your PTO run ok ... mine runs all the time .. it has an arm at the back of the tractor which you pull back to engage (can't do this from the tractor seat). Apparently there is some adjustment you can make by removing a bolt so you can reach in and adjust some cogs.

Thanks for your help .... Paul

Yes, my pto runs all the time and it's on my list of things to look at but I don't know where to start. I'm sure some of the true experts on this board may be able to help us both. Good luck

Hi, I know what the "constant-running" pto is on those, it has a shift lever at the rear of the tractor only.
I think you both have what guys call a "live" pto with a hand clutch. You can stop the tractor motion while the pto is still running. Case has a different name for the "live" pto but I don't have my owners manual right now. Anyway I'm sure the "live" pto has a adjustment at the rear of the tractor. I've seen this discussed here before and should be in the archieves too. Hope that helps, Dennis.....
