does anyone know how to tell the difference between the two motors that were in the 511? I was told the only difference was the piston size. your help would really be appreciated. thanks.

In all the books I've seen they only offered the G164 engine with a 3 9/16 bore for the 511b,611b and the 351. It was as far as I know the only dry sleeve engine Case made. I have an orginal parts book for it.

My uncle is overhauling his 511, went to order parts and they told him there was a g159 also. I also have a 511, but mine is ever so slightly different than his--different year, different water pump jacket, and my distributer rotates the oppisite way. Just wondering what the difference was.
