Have a new toy. Think its a 1958 411b or 311b from the pictures I have looked up. Gas engine. Anyone know if the two tractor have the same engine?? Help need to order service manual.

They both should have the 148 engine in them. The 311b would have a dry clutch and the 411B would be a Case-O-Matic drive version

they both have 148 cid engines,but the blocks are different.

phil,look at the instrument panel,there will be one or two levers. if there is only one on the left side (this is the throttle)then its a 300B. If there is a second lever on the right side(this is for case-o-matic) then its a 400B. also on the 400B there will be two gauges under the instrument panel,one is for case-o-matic oil presssure,the other is for temperature. both of these are fine tractors if you are looking to buy one.
