Got the pistons back in with new rings and honed cyls. New custom made head gaskets, fresh valve job. Manifold had been welded back together many years ago. I found a pourous weld in a intake port, and rewelded it shut. Planed it flat. Finished the motor and has been running for a week. Now the radiator is off,and the core seperated, the rad casting media blasted, the fenders are off, all 20 grease cups have been cleaned and refreshed[first time in 50 years]. The brake has been fixed, which is hidden in the final drive. The gears and gearing are like new. All the cleaning and scraping and real work is going on now. Very little metal replacement is needed, some old bondo has been removed and the dents removed. Took off the old cut-flat tire, tring to cipher a nicer lookin "somthing" for the bald smooth rim. I have big help from 2 good friends on the clock. Without there help , it would not be as good. Once I and John P got the motor done, ole Tony T says with one eye closed and a hand on his chin,"Bring the sucker over, I'll paint er-up". he is VERY FUSSY..... .,so guess where it is now?

miller tire sells rubber lugs for steel wheels and they have steel cores so the bolts wont pull through. a nicer alternative to cut offs. you could always use the angle iron cleats they normally came with but i dont think the hwy dept. likes to fill in the pavement after youve passed along in the local parade.

miller tire.com or 419-335-7010 ext 4

good luck!

Since everybody is talking about this tractor, I figured you might like to see some pictures of it.

Here are the photos that Don L. has been sending me of his crossmotor over the past few weeks. I found out today that even DON didn't know they were posted!

You guys have completely run me out of room on my photo account- I'm at over 500 images now.

It's time to upgrade to a more expensive account again (for the THIRD time)... or start deleting stuff. I can't even post my OWN tractor pics now! (grin)

As I stated there was green paint every where under the gray. But now after the sheet metal has been removed , we have determined it was gray from the start. Don L.

Hi
Anybody need a big old Case Crossmotor Radiator.
I got one that looks pretty good. It's all I can
do to pick it up. I am hilling corn now, but could
e-mail pictures when I get some free time. It looks like the one in the pictures of the cross
motor. Thanks, Bob P.S I don't want to ship it.
