I had posted earlier about having problems not getting fuel to the final filter. Not sure what we did but we found some sticky linkage, took this and that apart and put it back together. Finally we pressurized the tank and started ro get fuel to the final filter. Once we had fuel there we hooked up the lines and continued the pressure in the tank till it started smoking and after a little sniff of either it took off. It seems to run great, shut off and starts good on it's own

I had a I&T manual but was disapointed in the information it provided on the pump. Guess one should invest in a manual on just the pump. I do have one last question about the lift pump. I didn't notices a gasket on the cover. I tightened it down but it still seems to leak. What can one do to get it to seal???

In another mater my 1959 Case 900B which many of you may remember with the ugly but stylish cab. I was ready to pull the inline pump and put on my 1958 900B when I decided to try baring on the flywheel. To my surprise I heard a noise, I pryed a little more and hear the noise again, I was getting a wiggle, went the other direction, it moved, went the other way and it moved again, it come lose after soaking it over a year in different types of penetrants. I haven't been able to go all the way over as I think a valve may be stuck. Since I'm past my stuck mark both ways I don't beleive its a rust ridge. It turned out to be a great day working on the old Case 900's. Thanks to all that posted on my last post.
