This messege board is getting all mixed up. it will not post half of my messeges. If all the moderator of this board wants is opinions he likes than this board has gone to the dogs...All I want to do is keep the record straight on these old tractors. If I know information posted is wrong, I try to correct it, not cause a argument. I have been corrected when I have been wrong and I appreciate it when it is pointed out to me, and I'll admit my mistake.

The 1030 never had a hand clutch. The 930 Comfort King(six speed) was a foot clutch as standard equipment, but a hand clutch was an option. The newer 930's(1964 and up) were foot clutch only.

Why does the older these tractors get the less accruate information gets out. The six speed 930 CK in our country(Wheat) the foot clutch was optional only in 1966 but most were sold with the hand clutch. I HAVE A 1966 REPEAT 1966 930 CK, six speed, chain drive and a oil bath Hand clutch. All previous years 1965 back,--- I never seen one with a foot clutch.....

All I had to go by was some captions under some pictures. The book didn't go into much detail on that tractor. They were more interested in the tractors up to the 900 series, and then wanted to jump right into the 90 series.
When you say wheat country, we think of western kansas, I'm in the northeast counties. Where are you located? We don't have any of those old 930's around here.
