My 350 Case has a carb problem that results in a over rich condition with loss of power. Some times it runs fine other times it acts up. I think someone put a replacement engine in from a Case Combine. The parts books indicate that it should have a Marvel carb. and it has a Zeinth. I'm confused? Any suggestions? Which Case models would have a similar carb so I can go junk yard carb. hunting?

It may have came with a zenith or been replaced with one. Both work fine, you can get a kit for around $20.00. Look for a Mfr# tag or cast #,sounds like float or needle valve is sticking.Clean it up good and soak overnite if you can, make sure to clean small orfices with torch tip tool and blow them out good. That should cure the problem. An exch. at Central Tractor runs $230.00, I'd try the kit first.Dave

Sometimes it helps to clean them. I had the same trouble with a 600 I took the carb, apart used carb, cleaner and high-pressure, air. I would recommend having it professionally pressure washed / cooked, I’m at a loss for the correct terminology. Check with a dealer or auto mechanic
