Im puttint on a new speedometer cable and where the cable fits into the tractor casing it seems the female part (square end) is missing. Can anyone give me any clues on what it takes to fix this. Im restoring the tractor so I want everything to work.
Thanks in advance and email me if you have any questions.
Thanks
Mike from S.E. MN

Just bought the two parts to repair mine. Right now the transmission case is stripped and I'm just starting to reassemble. The parts were: A33299 CABLE, flex, speedometer $16.48
A24523 SHAFT, speedometer $14.23
I don't know for certain this is what you need, but this is what I ordered based on the Case-IH parts CD catalog.

Thanks Case931
I already have the cable but not the shaft, pretty reasonable price. Will use the number when I order.

Hey MGM; That part could be broken and lying in the bottom of the pan. That whole unit pulls out of the block, and a new one presses in place. I have the part # up in the archives if no one else has it. Hope this helps
