Wanted to see if anyone had any ideas as to what the problem might be. The engine was running and sounded fine until just recently. Tried to start it one day to do a little brushing, but it seemed like it was starving for gas___as it would run for a minute or so, then die. Let set for a little, take off the gas line, make sure there was fuel etc., then it would start, run a little, then die. Then it made a funny sound, and locked up tighter than Dicks Hatband. Could'nt get it to turn over with starter or the hand crank. I mean it won't BUDGE !
I pulled the head off today and don't see any problems there on top. Will pull the pan and check the bottom next, when I get time and the rain stops !
Any ideas as to what might've happened ???
Thanks in advance___any info apreciated !

could be a number of things but it sounds to me
like you might have spun a bearing on the crankshaft and locked it up. that happened to me with a vac that i had. thats just one possibility
and a guess on my part. you may find the problem
when you pull the pan. good luck and i hope you find the problem.

Thanks Bob,

Yeah, I hope it's something simple. Didn't get a chance yet to pull the pan. I just hope the crank is ok if it's something down there.

Any other guesses, Anybody ?
