This is the tractor I got from Gary Sergel 6 years ago. SSN is 4405501 or 4405509. It's set up now as a DC3 but he gave me a DC4 axle which he said he got with it? It's complete except for fenders and it has the generator between the governor and the mag. What else can you tell me?
I'm assuming it was shipped to NE Colorado, Wyoming, or western Nebraska.

By the way, send us some of your unwanted rain; we need it badly.

Thanks, Tom.
Tom R.

I was shown a 1940 case c e it was delivered new to a gov. installation in alabama and was purchased by a friend of mine 30 years ago and still only has aprox 70 (seventy) hours on it. we were told that it was one of 25 made it has some unique features that I have not seen before (I am no tractor expert) it also has an arrow head symbol cast into the block on the r. side that he was told was a rare mark. I would like some input if anybody knows anything about this model. I am thinking about buying it and do not know how to price it. thank you in advance,Jim Brown

Yes, it does have two holes in the hood, but it is a one compartment tank.

Are you sure it wasn't shipped to Oshkosh, Nebraska? That's only about 150 miles from where Gary Sergel lived. Of course, as we all too well know, tractors do have a way of traveling long
distances. I do doubt that Case had a branch in Oshkosh NE as it's a pretty small town.

Thanks again for your help.

By the way, how is DC pulling going this summer?
