I bought a 300 today that has original paint. Has 300 on the side of the grille shell. But what I don't understand is that it is a desert sand model with the same nose as a 430. I thought that all the 300's were round nose. I'm confused!!

The 300-B is about the same as the 300, it is just less aerodynamic.

CASEPOWER-

Is it good enough to save, or is it a parts tractor?

Didn't realize they made a 300 with the later sheet metal. None of my books list a 300B just the 311B. Does this one fit in the 1955 to 1958 year range also?? To bad the serial tag is missing..

There are several models whether the 311B, the 301B, the 310B etc. depending on axles etc. They are the 1958, 1959, and I believe early 1960 years. They were replaced by the 30 series.
