Elmer,
I was working on a 1410 DB back in the summer and you gave alot of info on it. However, I had to stop work on it due to my job.
Now I am back working on it and I have a question..... I have the head off and all the pistons removed. I want to replace the sleeves in the block. What or how is the best way to remove these sleeves?????

Thanks for the info

CJ

I'm not Elmer but unless a repair sleeve has been installed these tractors came out unsleeved. Block has to be bored. If you are already at max (40 over I think) then the block needs to be machine shop fitted for a repair (dry) sleeve that takes it back to standard. As these dry sleeves ase machine fitted it will take a machine shop to get them out. Never seen one need to be resleeved. Should have 3 bores in the factory block and 3 in the sleeve. I normally get about 4000 hours out of these DB/Case engines. 6 bores would take you to 24,000 hours.
