Seen a lot of dis. about this down lower and just done some work and wanted to put in my 2 cents. Here is what we done to my block. Put the sleeves in and set it in the power stroke honer. There is a brace that runs across the top of the block we had to get longer threaded rods for the machine because the block is so tall. We then put .010 shims ontop the sleeves at the edge then bolted the brace for the machine down. They held fine while power honeing. Honeing puts much more force on a sleeve then boreing does. I only took it from 4.302 to 4.310. You just about have to find a machinest that don't mind the extra set-up time. I would not recomend turning in a lathe because they will chatter and the chuck preasure will destort them also. I also had a 201 engine bored and power honed with the wet sleeves in. They hadn't been out since the late 60s and did not move any. Also if you are going to try a lathe. Bore from the measurement of the piston at the widest part the bottom opposite the pin. Then turn to that size and hone for the desired clearance.
